Replacement drive shafts are often needed to repair damaged splines or to correct an imbalance from not being perfectly straight. These shafts have a welded collar in place of the stop ring groove, which was the most common place for shafts to break back when Special Tuning was rallying Minis in the 60s. These shafts fit all classic Minis with yoke or flange drive. Lengths are 15-3/4" and 12-3/4"; sold as a pair only.
For racing, see also 27H4775/6.
Note: Seven advises you to consider upgraded drive shafts in a high-powered classic Mini. This is because the groove for this circlip is a weak point in the drive shaft, and under power, the shaft can snap at the bottom of this groove. See SSS0046 and SSS0047 to eliminate this inherent weakness.
