    Rear Main Oil Seal

    The tell-tale of a leaking rear main seal is a drip of oil from the cotter pin at the bottom of the belll housing. This should be replaced when the clutch is changed. Choose OE-spec or aftermarket version.

  • STL0012

    Rear Main Seal Installer

    Kit allows safe replacement of a leaky rear main crankshaft oil seal without the tim-consuming removal of the flywheel housing. It can be done with the engine still in place, but it is a tight squeeze! Includes sleeve to safely install new seal over the splines of the gear and seal seating tool, to push the seal into its final location in the flywheel housing.

  • Hinge Pin Bush Installation Tool

    To remove and replace the Mk1-Mk2 external door hinge pin bush, this is the tool you will need!

  • Pot Joint Remover

    Readily separates inner cv, or "pot" joints, from the differential. Hammer on the free end to pop the joint out of the diff.

  • Ball Joint Replacement Socket, 1.5"

    Deep socket in 1.5" size as needed for ball joint replacement. Also useful on pre-Verto flywheel bolt and main shaft pinion nut inside transmission.

    Cone Spring Compressors

    Classic Minis were fitted with metric-threaded rubber springs from 1976-onwards, so many owners will only need the STL0004 single-tip (metric) tool. All new cones have metric threads; if you are uncertain about which threads are in your cones due to unknown history, you may want the STL0010 deluxe dual-tip (metric and standard) tool so you can remove both types of cones.

    Be careful not to damage the threads of the cone or tool during operation!

  • Windshield Filler Strip Tools

    This handy and inexpensive tool is the one you will need to install the troublesome windshield seal lock strip.

    Professional-quality tool for installing the filler strip in the front and rear windscreens. Includes adapters to fit many different cars. Made in the U.S.A.

  • Wheel Cylinder Circlip Tool

    This simple tool makes a tricky job easy, and helps prevent scratching the fresh paint off your new backing plate! This is the tool to fit the sirclip on the rear wheel cylinder. Includes instructions.

  • Joint Separators

    The lever action design of the sturdy large version will remove the most stubborn of ball joints, faciliating service of the front suspension, while leaving the ball pin threads undamaged. The small "C" clamp tool makes easy work of removing the track rod end from the steering arm without doing damage to the taper pin.

  • Twin Carb Synchronizer

    Using the CarbSynch is the fastest and easiest way to synchronize airflow through twin carbs. It is much more accurate than putting a hose in your ear (though not as much fun.) A must-have for anyone maintaining twin carbs.

    Bottom-End Gasket Set, 1300cc Solid Block

    Bundle of all gaskets below the head gasket, including block to transmission and flywheel housing. Primarily for use on blocks with no tappet covers, such as pre-A+ 1300 and A+ 1300. Includes standard timing cover seal and both types of timing cover and front plate gaskets (as shown); does not include rear main oil seal, seals for the tappet cover bolts, or tappet cover gaskets.

    Rod Change Gearbox Oil Seal Kit

    More appropriately referred to as an "Anti-Oil Leak Kit", this handy kit updates early rod change boxes to the later design, while replacing common problem area seals. Included: new selector shaft gaiter, oil seal, aluminum spacer/locator and o-ring. These parts are also available separately if needed.

    This kit provides the necessary equipment to bleed brakes or hydraulic clutch systems the way the professionals do it.
