The ''Ed Spreen Mini'' at the SVRA MIS Invitational, June 2023
Fortech Racing driver Chris Kearney leads Toybox Racing's Andy Nelson on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Grand Prix course during the SVRA MIS Invitational June 16-18. The race weekend featured a 20-minute sprint race, and later in the day, a 90-minute endurance race with all classes eligible. Chris was able to win the sprint race, with Andy coming second, so a Mini got 1st and 2nd. The endurance race had Chris, Andy, and Mike Kearney teaming up to win, so a great weekend for all Mini fans. Says Mike: "The motor was turning 8,000RPM the entire weekend with out any problems, and to win at Indy on Father's Day will always be a very special memory for me."
