Rear seat foam and padding kit for the very early, 1959-60 Austin and Morris Mini saloon. These seats differed form the later seats in that the seat back extended down over the wheel well.
The squab horsehair pad with this particular pad should be glued to the front face of the metal rail that sits and is located on top of the parcel shelf panel. It might be possible that you may have a wooden rail instead of a metal rail. Either type are original. The sides of this particular pad actually go down into the rear pockets. Once you have glued the pad to the metal rail, you can fit the seat cover now as the side skirts of the cover need to be turned over the pad and glued in place. The top of the cover can then be glued to the back of the metal rail.
