The Historic nomenclature denotes a bar that is slightly reduced in length to avoid the blades rubbing the inside of the tires on a "Historic" or vintage racer with standard track. A typical USA vintage racer will want this bar length with the almost universal 6x10 wheel size.
Helps to control body roll to eliminate understeer in both road and race cars. Rear bar is a 5/8" diameter blade type which mounts to the back of the rear subframe. Will clear both side or center exit exhausts. This bar design is used by virtually all the Miglia racing Minis in the UK and has been used in Seven-prepped vintage Minis with good results, giving good predictable rear end control. Detailed mounting instructions included. This kit is for installation on drum brake cars only.
See KAD1013206 for .75" bar diameter race-spec kit.
