It is fairly common on older classic Minis for the firewall bracket to which the upper engine stabilizer arm attaches to break off. A quick way to fix this, without welding, is by attaching this bracket over the old mounting location, by drilling through the firewall and bolting the bracket on. As a handy feature, a slot in the bracket allows installation without removal of the brake line that goes through the old bracket. In stainless steel. Ref: 14A6730, 14A6730E, FOR075.
