The A-series engine has long been known for its exceptional performance, but has also gained a reputation for oil leaks and excessive smoking issues. One of the leading causes of these problems lies in uncontrolled crankcase pressure. When the piston moves up in the block to create compression, it subsequently moves back down, resulting in crankcase pressure. Furthermore, worn piston rings contribute to blow-by, further increasing the crankcase pressure.
This kit features an innovative and straightforward solution to address this issue: an additional breather. The adapter block is meticulously designed to bolt onto the backside of any block featuring a blanking plate, typically used for the mechanical fuel pump. By attaching this block, baffled venting is ensured, effectively managing crankcase pressure.
The adapter block boasts a 3/8-18 pipe thread output, offering flexibility to create a customized catch/vent system. Manufactured from premium billet aluminum.
